Abstract

Introduction: Liver dysfunction is a significant health concern, and the development of effective animal models is crucial for understanding the underlying mechanisms and exploring potential therapeutic interventions. The CCl4-induced liver injury model in Wistar Albino rats is a well-established approach for studying liver pathophysiology.

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the induction of liver dysfunction using CCl4 in Wistar Albino rats and to characterize the associated biochemical, histopathological, and oxidative stress changes.
