The attenuation function proposal is thought from the minimization of the mean square error between the speech envelopes average and your estimative, consideration computational complexity restrictions. The performance of the proposed method was evaluated through two intelligibility criteria, assuming speech aditived contamination by the babble noise in different SNRs. The results indicate that a proposed mask offers greater intelligibility to the user, compared to the Wiener and Wiener masks, both used in the literature. Keyphrases: Implante coclear, máscara tempo-frequência, processamento da fala, redução de ruído
