SAE Institute Dubai has the pleasure of inviting you to the 1st annual Creativity in Teaching & Learning Conference (CTL) which will be held on (Thursday) 7 November 2019 at our campus in Knowledge Park, Dubai.
The conference will focus on trends involving creativity, teaching practice and issues impacting the current educational landscape. Our aim is to bring together teachers, academics, postgraduate students, and educational professionals from across the region to present research and exchange ideas in a welcoming environment. The themes of the conference are:
- Creativity and Project-Based Learning
- Media and Assessment Development
- Teaching Media Literacy
- Policy and Technology in Education
- Imagination and Innovation
- Employability
- Design for Change
- Innovative learning through film, music and video games
We will also be offering a series of creativity workshops designed for teachers. These workshops will be conducted by creative media professionals and fellow educators and are designed to help enhance teaching practice and student experience.
Submission Guidelines
How to submit a paper:
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
The deadline for abstract submission is June 25th 2019.
The abstract should contain 500-600 words of text and include the aims/research justification, methodology, theoretical framework, main findings and conclusion. The format of the abstract is Arial size 11, 1.5 spaces, justified. The paper margins should be 1” on all sides. The title of the paper should appear centered above the abstract with no extra spaces. Do not use bold, italics, underlining, or quotation marks for the paper’s title. After the abstract, include an alphabetized list of up to 5 keywords. “Keywords” should be bold, indented five spaces from the left margin, and followed by a colon. The words should be separated with commas. Do not include a period at the end of the keywords. The submission should include an APA formatted list of references used in the abstract.

Guidelines for text of the paper
Final papers should follow the same formatting guidelines include following sections:
- Introduction
- Aims of the research
- Theoretical Framework
- Methodology
- Main Findings
- Conclusion
- References
- Appendices
The recommended length is 8-12 pages not including references or appendices.

How to submit a poster:
Please submit an abstract outlining the poster submission following the same guidelines as those listed for paper submissions. Final posters should be standard 4' wide x 2' high.
