The #COLLABforASIA is also known as the 2nd Asia-Pacific Interprofessional Education and Collaboration (APIPEC) and Philippine Interprofessional Education and Collaboration (PHIPEC) Networks Joint Conference.
The conference theme is Transforming Asian Healthcare and Social Welfare through Interprofessional Education and Collaboration in the 21st Century with the overarching goal of cultivating a community of networks that aim to learn and work together to improve a portion or overall aspect of health care and/or social welfare in their own domains.
We invite all stakeholders of health and social welfare from the Asia-Pacific region. A delegate/participant can be any of the following: practitioners, educators, administrators, researchers, stakeholders, entrepreneurs, community workers, students, clients and service users, and advocates and self-advocates.

Submission Guidelines
- All papers must be original, evidence-based, and relevant to the conference theme. All presentations should facilitate problem-solving, inform existing and new information, provide an experience, build an argument, discuss solutions for development, showcase on-going projects, and identify relevant gaps and issues.
- Submissions of on-going projects, ideas, and discussion points that you think is relevant to improve healthcare and social welfare in your local communities within the last two years (January 2017 onwards) are highly encouraged.
- All authors of the study must approve the abstract before submission.
- A person may only submit a maximum of two abstracts. Each abstract can be presented either as a poster or an oral presentation.
- Any changes on the presenting author must be informed to the Scientific Committee one month before the conference.
- The presenter is responsible for his/her own funding and arrangements for travel, accommodation, registration, and any other costs related to participating in the conference.
- The submitting author must register for the conference on or before November 15, 2019 in order for the abstract to be fully accepted.
The following paper categories are welcome:
- Oral: This is a presentation type where the presenter will be given 15 minutes to share his/er completed research, on-going project, or relevant discussion about interprofessional education and/or collaborative practice. Format: PPT or Keynote, 15 slides maximum.
- Posters: This is a presentation type where the presenter will be given 10 minutes to share his/er completed research or on-going project in a visual format. Format: A0 size poster, portrait orientation.

Each accepted abstract will be eligible for indexing at the Philippine Journal of Allied Health Sciences (https://pjahs.ust.edu.ph/).
